Angie's favorite exercise modalities (Pilates, Strength Training, and Barre) combined for a full body stretch, flow, and strengthen. Each class will vary depending on the needs of the participants.
Elements of Angie's Fusion
- Pilates mat work utilizes your body weight for exercise and is the basis for the entire Pilates system of movement.
- Strength training will use small hand weights (or household items) to build and tone upper and lower body muscle groups.
- Barre work targets the seat and thighs. We will work those muscle groups to “feel the burn” challenging and strengthening the entire body in the process.
Overall, this class focuses on mobility and will help to balance strength and flexibility in order to feel the mind/body connection.
Props that may be used in this class include: hand weights, small stability ball, resistance bands, and a chair.
